Covid-19 Information for Guests

Welcome to Yellingham Farm where our primary aim, as always, is to provide you with a safe and enjoyable stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Devon.

 In response to the Guidelines issued by the Government we have implemented a number of measures to give both yourselves and ourselves confidence that the highest possible safety standards are in place.  Throughout your stay there are 2 key safety controls which are fundamental, and they apply at all times during your stay.

Wash and/or Sanitise your Hands Frequently

Social Distance at all times

 Arrival

  •  Please ring the bell at the entrance gates to the farm and we will come and meet you – this is also to ensure that our farm dogs are not loose!

  • Sanitise your hands as you enter the lobby;

  • Please complete the registration form. This is required for track and traceability and will be kept securely for 21 days and then permanently destroyed.

 Your Room

  • Your room will have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before your stay;

  • To facilitate the cleaning and the sanitising process we have decided to remove some decorative soft furnishings, magazines and brochures. They are still available so please ask if you require any extras;

  • To improve safety standards, we will not service your room during your stay unless you request it.  Please put your beverage tray and waste bins outside your room which we will wash, clean, sanitise and return.

Breakfast

  •  Breakfast is served at one large table and a maximum of 6 people will be served at the same time;

  • A sample menu is in your room. However, our menu changes daily and your order will be taken at the table as usual;

  • Your menu choices will be prepared individually to order in the kitchen and brought to the table.

What to do if you develop Covid 19 symptoms during your stay

  • If you develop Covid 19 symptoms whilst staying with us, please act quickly. YOU MUST NOTIFY US;

  • If you test positive you must tell us and return home if you can. If this is not possible, together we will discuss the appropriate action to take;

  • You can book a test online at www.nhs.uk/coronavirus or call 119;

  • If you have to stay with us, you will be charged all reasonable costs.

Thank you for reading this, but please do not hesitate to ask us any further questions about any issues relating to the safety of your stay here at Yellingham Farm.
